International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) World Congress 2023
The ISWA World Congress brings together government, policy-makers, scientists, and professionals to advance scientific and technical knowledge on sustainable solid waste management.
The 2023 event was hosted in Muscat, Oman. The Circulate Initiative’s Research Director, Umesh Madhavan, spoke at the following themed sessions: “Driving Resource Efficiency and the Circular Economy” and “Mitigating Climate Change,” exploring how systems change can be achieved through investment in the plastics value chain, as well as the relationship between climate change and plastic pollution.
