Practicing Circular Economy, This Collaboration Strengthens the Plastic Waste Recycling Value Chain
The Circulate Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to addressing the problem of ocean plastic pollution in developing countries, has named Indonesia as the second country to implement its Responsible Sourcing Initiative. This is an annual global program designed to address the most pressing human rights challenges in the plastic recycling value chain.
Annerieke Douma, Program Director at The Circulate Initiative, said this system-changing approach aims to ensure a responsible supply chain which requires collaboration and commitment from all stakeholders along the plastic recycling value chain.
